Building your Vocabulary

Do you often at times catch your self using the same words? And feel embarrassed when you are handing in your essay? Or you just want to build up your English vocabulary. I know I do, that is why today I would like to expand everyone’s vocabulary!

I was browsing through http://www.merriam-webster.com and came across this wonderful word Camaraderie and thought this would be a perfect word to start off with…

Camaraderie- the strength of good friendship

 Example: It was the camaraderie of the players that helped them win their football game.

It’s pretty easy to develop a brighter vocabulary; it just takes time and practice. There are many benefits, one which will prevent you from plagiarizing others’ creations. Just think about it, many sentences are common, but if you grow your vocabulary knowledge it’s more than likely that your paper will be different. So go online or pick up a dictionary and start expanding your English vocabulary!
