Plagiarism Blamed for Poor Performing Graduates in Africa
Now days, many students going to Universities can buy a fully researched Dissertation if they have the money for it. A Dissertation is an essay or paper written by someone else that the student can buy off the Internet if they can afford it. Some websites make it very affordable for students to cheat this way.
A University in Uganda, Africa is blaming such a thing as plagiarism for poor performing students. They go to the University and study hard but then get lazy and buy their way through their essays and papers. The online paper mills who sell these Dissertations say it is not plagiarism because the essays and papers are written with 100% unique content by their writers. However, it is plagiarism and cheating when the students should be doing the work themselves and not paying others to do it for them. These places should be illegal and should be banned!
According to East African Business Week, a proposal goes for about $40 while a Dissertation that is fully researched goes for around $120. The University in Uganda admitted that they allow such students who excel in their high school grades attend the school. However, once they reach the college they start relaxing a little too much and end up using these Dissertations to cheat and plagiarize to get their grades up.
